The next step was for us to create a brand and consequently a story that would translate into the pyjamas but also work as our main marketing tool.
Myself (Cam) and Greig, have a lot in common when it comes to taste and inspiration, so the first thing we did was take out our Hello Kitty paper pad, our Swarovski ball point pen, pour a glass of Pinot and jot down everything that makes us, US.

We discovered we loved anything relentlessly trashy, ya know, Lolo Ferrari, Ke$ha, Rhinestones.
We're clearly obsessed with modern Americana - botox, Valley Malls, Vegas, Khloe Kardashian, Real Housewives of....
Of course we're teetering over into the world of Camp, we dig the the Palm Springs Gay Scene, Hello Kitty, Jane McDonald and Cher's 'You Haven't Seen the Last of Me.'
But hey! We're sophisticated too, we like Art Deco Architecture, Vera Wang champagne flutes, Alessi cat food bowls, and diamonds, lots and lots of diamonds.
Throwing these words around we quickly came up with the name 'Trash Valley,' but we also came up with the ethos of our brand. We wanted it to be fun, modern, full of pop-culture references, unique and eye catching. But the diva in us calls out for luxury and excellence which will come across in the construction, design and fabric choice. These ain't gonna be no Primark PJs.
